Dancing at tunnels beaches

I’ve been lucky enough to be the tunnels beaches wedding photographer a number of times now, and I am now convinced more than ever that the tunnels are some magic portal that sends you to the Mediterranean when you pass through them. The forecast for this day was rain – lots of it and I had my raincoat and umbrella packed. The magic tunnels however granted us the most fantastic sunshine all day and the most spectacular sunset. I am such a sucker for a good sunset. We started the day in the tunnels beaches own onsite accommodation – the courtyard – for the getting ready shots and we had some lovely window light coming through for the hair and makeup artists. Then through the tunnels for an outdoor ceremony and drinks reception before heading to the beach (whilst the tide was out) for the group shots. Being a West facing venue on the coast, you get the sun streaming into the venue as it sets for some gorgeous light and I was always keeping an eye on any clouds on the horizon to predict when to ahead down for our golden hour bride and groom portrait session. We ended up heading down to the beach a couple of times to make the most of the light. We finished things up with some very energetic dancing to a DJ set by the wedding spinner and of course a customary drunken, heath and safety nightmare sparkler session just after the sun went down. I’m really proud of the images I took here and definitely have some great portfolio material. I hope to get invited back to tunnels beaches to be a wedding photographer again soon! Stone Barn Wedding Photographer | Mia & Joe | Cotswolds

The wedding of Mia & Joe at Stone Barn wedding venue in the Cotswolds. I had been in touch with Mia & Joe for a few years before we finally were able to meet properly at their wedding. The joys of the Covid-19 pandemic had meant this wedding had been postponed a few times before they decided to go ahead with it despite the restrictions on the number of guests allowed. Needless to say, the day was fantastic and being one of the first weddings allowed in over a year, everyone was in especially high spirits and in great need of letting off some steam! The day began at their family home in Cheltenham before moving to Stone Barn for the reception. The ceremony required the use of masks whilst seated and guest numbers were reduced to a limit of 30. Despite the restrictions on dancing indoors, speakers were rolled out to the terrace and thanks to the great weather, we were able to get some much needed dancing in under the moonlight. This was my first time as a stone barn wedding photographer and it definitely won’t be my last! Having been lucky enough to photograph weddings at a few of their venues in the past, I can confirm that Cripps & Co really know how to build and style a great wedding venue and Stone Barn is no exception. The ceremony area is just stunning with some gorgeous light beaming in. The surrounding fields also made an excellent backdrop for some dramatic bride and groom portraits. I hope the local farmer didn’t mind us using their lovely crop field for a few images! I hope to shoot there many more times in the future! If you are looking for a stone barn wedding photographer, please do get in touch and we can discuss all things wedding photography!

Hannah & Charlie – Elmore Court Wedding Photographer

It was an honour to be the official Elmore Court Wedding Photographer at the stunning wedding of Hannah and Charlie in Gloucestershire. Elmore Court is defintely one of my favourite venues to photograph and really set up well for a wedding with the separate soundproof building around the back so the band and guests can be as loud as they want without disturbing the neighbours! The day started at a local hair salon before moving on to Elmore court itself. Lots of beautiful details in the table settings and decor of the wedding day. The light coming from the big window in the ceremony room makes for incredible photos. We had the perfect sunset in the meadow out the back of the venue as you will see from the images below. The great thing about mid-Summer weddings is that it is still light till very late so guests were able to be outside all evening.
