My experience as a wedding photographer at Wick Farm Bath. There are wedding days that just feel like pure magic, and this was definitely one of them. Set at the stunning Wick Farm Bath—an idyllic venue just outside the city—this wedding had everything: a charming barn draped in fairy lights, glorious sunshine, and a whole lot of love.
From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be special. The venue was glowing in the summer light, and there was a real buzz of excitement in the air. The ceremony took place inside the beautiful barn, where warm wooden beams and twinkling fairy lights created the perfect romantic setting. It was an incredibly emotional ceremony, with the groom shedding a few happy tears—cue everyone reaching for tissues! His family had traveled all the way from Malta, which made the moment even more meaningful.
After the heartfelt “I do’s,” we stepped outside into the sunshine for a relaxed drinks reception. The speeches were held outdoors, which felt just right for such a warm and joyous day. There’s something special about raising a glass under blue skies, surrounded by laughter and love.
One of the highlights of the day was the dynamic between the bride and her two sisters. The three of them were an absolute joy—full of energy, inside jokes, and plenty of happy tears. Watching them together was a reminder of just how much weddings are about family as well as romance.
As the sun began to set, the celebrations moved back inside for an unforgettable evening of food, dancing, and laughter. The barn, now glowing under the fairy lights, set the perfect scene for a night of joy and celebration.
To the newlyweds—thank you for letting me capture your beautiful day. It was an absolute privilege to witness so much love, laughter, and emotion.
